My Favorite RIDES at Disney World: Part 1 of 4

It is well known I love Disney World. I've been to Disneyland (walked where Walt Disney himself did) and Disneyland Paris and Disney World just has so much more to offer. Disneyland might have the new Cars attraction which I can't wait to see when we go on our cruise next year (Yes if you read the post Wonder, we have booked our cruise!) and we are spending three days at Disneyland before heading to Settle where we leave port! Anyhow, below are my favorite rides at the Magic Kingdom. I am not a big fan of Space Mountain, it is way too bumpy for me and I've rode some of the oldest rides in the US,

Magic Kingdom Rides

Big Thunder Mountain Rail Road

is an indoor/outdoor mine runaway train roller coaster

Splash Mountain

begins with a peaceful outdoor float-through that leads to indoor dark ride segments, with a climactic steep drop into a "briar patch" followed by an indoor finale. 4 rows, 2 people (sometimes 3) can sit in a row.

Carpets of Aladdin

Soar around a giant genie bottle on your very own magic carpet! 2 people in the front and 2 people in the back of the carpet

Haunted Mansion

Climb aboard the Doom Buggy and ride through this ominous haunted house where a supernatural Ghost Host introduces you to his closest 999 dearly departed friends. Watch out for harrowing hitchhikers!

Jungle Cruise

Ride a 1930s-style safari boat through the world's most exotic, untamed rivers. Brave wild animals and zany goings-on in Asia, Africa and South America on this charming riverboat classic.

Peter Pan's Flight

On this sweeping, high-flying ride, swoop from the Darling children's home to far-off Never Land in a pirate galleon! Drift over the twinkling London skyline and Mermaid Lagoon to Captain Hook's ship.

Dumbo the Flying Elephant

Soar high in the sky with Dumbo over Magic Kingdom theme park.

Mad Tea Party

Take a whirl in a giant tea cup as the Dormouse occasionally pops up from the pot. Control how fast your cup spins at this mad-as-a-hatter Unbirthday Party in Wonderland!

Liberty Square Riverboat

Cruise on the Rivers of America in this authentic 3-tiered paddlewheel steamship. Circle for a scenic, half-mile tour of Frontierland, Liberty Square and Tom Sawyer Island. (Seriously excited about riding this at night with Chris.)

Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin

Stop the Evil Emporer Zurg from stealing the Universe's cystollic fusion cell supply. Climb aboard your own space cruiser to shoot targets and rack up points as you battle the robots in Zurg's service. To infinity and beyond!

Prince Charming Regal Carousel

Gently glide 'round this genuine antique carousel on one of 90 prancing steeds as magical Disney music fills the air. It's a ride fit for royalty!

Stitch's Great Escape!

Enter the Galactic Federation Prisoner Transportation Center for an outlandish adventure with everyone's favorite agent of chaos! When Stitch escapes, he wreaks havoc in the crowd using water, smells and other surprises during this wacky experience.

I saved that one for last because I always let it be the last ride I do that day at the Magic Kingdom because you smell like chili cheese dog farts and burps after that ride. I HIGHLY recommend doing this last, NEVER do it first thing in the morning.

So those are my favorite rides. No not attractions but rides. Yes I know its crazy I ride Space Mountain every time but it's not a favorite for me. Hope you enjoyed it.

I have been meaning to get on here and write just how awesome your blog is. I make it a point to read all of your posts. I'm slacking slightly.
I do love the new playlist.
But let me intervene and say that I have some romantic Disney things planned for us besides riding all of the rides together and holding your hand. I love the Riverboat too btw.
Watching Wishes, twice, one time right underneath them, and then again at the California Grill. I made us resv at Victoria and Albert's. Wine tasting around the world in Epcot. A detour walk along the Boardwalk resort. Not to mention the walk down the man made beach. A carriage ride. Everything vintage in HS. Dinner at Tony's. There is something I defiantly want to do... Kiss you in Paris, Italy, in Epcot. Kiss you on Mtn Everest in Animal Kingdom. Kiss you under the socerer hat in HS. Kiss you on Main Street. I love you. Keep up the amazing job.
