Review: 50 Shades Of Grey Soothe Me After Spanking Cream

Almost a month ago Chris and I went sex toy shopping. Well of course since everyone calls us Christian and Ana we had to check out the 50 Shades sex of our store. You can view the rest of the haul here.

One thing we bought was the 50 Shades Of Grey Soothe Me After Spanking Cream.

And as much as we try to hide it the fact remains we are into that scene.

This cream is great though. I haven even used it as regular body cream. It really does soothe irritated skin. It greatly reduces the redness as well. It was calm and soothing. It is infused with almond oil, arnica and cocoa butter.

My favorite though is the smell. The aroma of sandalwood, bergamot and musk is fantastic. It just makes me feel so much like a, well, goddess.

Review: Lush's I Love Juicy

*Gasp* I'm doing a review for the first time in two years.

I have become obsessed with this shampoo thanks to +Hunter. People take hint she is great at getting people to buy products. I don't know at the products I have bought because she has talked me into it. She doesn't even have to be looking at you and she can sell you on something.

If you read her blog you know she is super obsessed with Big Shampoo from Lush. However, that shampoo is not recommended for people who color their hair. And even though I have been letting my natural strawberry start showing I'm holding on to the last of my bleached locks! So I have been using what Hunter says is the liquid version of the shampoo Big that isn't as abrasive as Big. This is called I Love Juicy. 

I get an oily scalp after a regular day and a day of dry shampoo and this knocks it out!!! It's fabulous at getting hair squeaky clean. Dry shampoo, pool gunk, hair chalk, it takes it all out. I do not recommend it for daily use because that will really dry out your scalp and that's not good either for your scalp.

I can tell that it adds volume and shine. It really gives my hair a boost which my other many shampoos that I have bought before this would do but it would be the next day and back to oily and heavy. This isn't the case with this product.

The smell is a very earthy-citrus smell. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like the smell or not but I really do love it. It lathers great in your hands and in your hair. It feels like you just went to the salon. You know when you walk around the mall swishing your hair... But that might just be me that does that.

I give a 5/5 Stars. I don't think I can live without this now.

Semi-Review: Twinings Tea

I have always been fond of tea. I was raised with two different kinds of tea. Afternoon tea and Southern Sweet tea. Southern Sweet tea is to be "dranked" from a mason jar and many times I have sipped the southern staple just that way.

As I grew up I have learned to appreciate what a cup of hot tea can do for your body and for your soul. I was about 14 years old when I started drinking hot tea on a daily basis. Then when I was 16 I fell in love with Lipton's Pyramid tea. 

One of my very first blogs was on the Lipton's Vanilla Caramel Truffle Tea. I still have a strong love for that tea for it's simple sweetness. However, since the weather has turned cooler (I can't say cold because the high today was 75) I have enjoyed Twinings tea. I have to admit I had only had it once before in my life. When we went to Disney World, however, they had their tea on sale in United Kingdom tea shop.

I was so excited I bought four different Twinings teas! I bought their three minute iced tea, Christmas Tea, Winter Spice, and my FAVORITE English Breakfast Tea. All of these teas are excellent. The Christmas Tea has the most amazing flavor. If I'm not mistaken my exact words were, "This is exactly what Christmas should taste like." It is perfect to enjoy while celebrating the holidays. The Winter Spice is nice for a simple and amazing flavor to keep you warm after the holidays. This herbal tea has a delightful flavor. The ice tea was ok. I was slightly thrown off because I am used to the a Southern sweet ice tea but it grew on me. 

I highly recommend these to everyone. I promise I have new love for tea all the time now. It has become a staple in my household.

Review: Bath & Body Works Lip Gloss and Holder

I know I wrote a post on EOS lip balm but those are easy to put in the bottom or a purse forget about them. However, I have found the solution for on the go with shopping or keeping up at Disney World. Bath & Body Works has the solution.

Anyone that loves Bath & Body Works knows about the PocketBacs, which in case you don't know, are the small anti-bacterial hand sanitizers. Many may know of the lip gloss but now the PocketBacs are not the only ones with cute traveling systems. You can now have lip gloss handy at anytime. Their lip gloss doesn't dry out your lips. 

The carry for the lip gloss is equally cute to the ones for the PocketBacs. I managed to get an owl (of course!) It was great while we were in Disney World. Having it and the PocketBac right there at my neck was awesome. 

In the top left corner you can some what see the size of the lip gloss holder compared to the the Pocketbac. The lip gloss I'm using right now contains Methanol in it or as B&BWs call it Mentha. I have the cinnamon flavor and it tastes and feels amazing on my lips. 

A friend of mine that's a guy said it looked like a creature from He-Man but then again he is a huge He-Man freak and walks around flexing his muscles yelling he has the power. However, I find the owl very cute. Depending on what style of lip gloss you get it can range from $7.50 to $10.00. And the carrier is $5-$8. I always go in to B&BWs if there is a sale or armed with a coupon. Sometimes the online store has amazing sales as well just use the Retail Me Not website and save major cash! 

Hope everyone's weekend has been great. Jackjack is doing great, my grandmother arrived this afternoon and I've ran two marathons this weekend! 

Review: Basin Almond Hydrator.

I like to watch product reviews a lot because 1) It helps me with mine. 2) I find products to try myself. LisaFreemontStreet is someone's videos I look forward to weekly. She is fun to watch and listen to while she does great vintage styles (not just make-up and hair) and she has a movie review channel as well. She did a video talking about body butter. 

She loves the smell of almond like I do. I guess because it doesn't overwhelm in any kind of product and gives a smell that's nice. So she mentioned a store that she likes to visit at Disney World and I was instantly perked up and Googling the name and I found the store. It's called Basin and it's located in Downtown Disney. It does not cost to get into Downtown Disney yet it still has a Disney quality to it. The transportation systems of Disney (bus or boat) will take you from your Disney Resort and to Downtown Disney. 

I was expecting the price to be high. I'm sorry, but Disney is not for the cheap at heart. Especially when you really want something. I went into this store knowing I was going to use up most of the money I had saved up to spend on myself and oh was I right. 

They had everything thing a girl who likes to take a BATH (not necessarily a shower) could dream of buying! Huge bath bombs, bath fizzies, real sponges, bath brushes, pumices, and milk baths, bath salt (for just $5 and you got to pick as many different smells as you could put into the container), conditioner bars, shaving cream, spa wax, face toner, facial soap, acne soap,  shampoo bars, and made-in-store soap! There was also body scrubs, candles, body butter, and hydrators! 

Thanks to Ashley at LisafreemontStreet I sought out for the almond smelling things and she was dead on about this product! It smells so good and it enriches my skin. The ingredients are jojoba oil, vitamins E, C & D, and additional nourishing ingredients. It's not greasy at all. I love it because it's water based. It's a really great product. I was not impressed with their soap. I think it might just be the smell that I got with the soap, I also loved the bath salts. I will be buying more of their products in the future. Definitely check out Basin.

Unashamed in Grey

If you are a personal friend on my Facebook, if you follow me on Twitter, or if you follow me on Pinterest then you must know I have become obsessed with E. L. James' Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy. I realize many Christian people do not agree with these books. That it's like men watching porn. Honestly? I don't see where it hurts if the woman knows her husband is watching it.

Strange part of me reading this series? Chris and I read it together the first time. I would a chapter out loud and then he would. I loved that. I am completely a virgin and have been for a while. Come on, I didn't even realize gays and lesbians existed until the 8th grade, and on a side note I didn't learn about what you do during sex until the 6th grade. I guess what gets me is how I found how you have sex, reading! Which is ironic because that's how Chris learned so much about sex. I guess I just read vanilla sex books until I was junior in high school and then I got my first Cosmopolitan.

Did these books change Chris' and mine's relationship? Yes. For bad? No. We learned a lot about each other. He opened up more about his past and I opened up about mine. Then there was a revelation between us. The sex talk in our relationship. We have had several these that we want to wait until we are married, but this one was different as Chris held me and turned me around me asked about afterwards.

Not going to lie my conscience had a book moment.... "OMG! He REALLY wants to marry me!" I asked him what did he mean. He asked what about sex after I get married and especially if we got married. I was taken back. I always think of sensual but then I realize that the sex in this book wasn't always, if rarely, sensual. I told him that I was up for anything.... as long as I was marrying him. Which is the truth. If Chris is the man that is God wants me to give my virginity to then I have full trust in him. Even if he has some of the same issues as Christian Grey.

Chris isn't that messed up, but only border lining. He has warned me since the first night that he wasn't normal. I knew that much since Ridge and them talk about him all the time. So in the future I hope to be marrying my own version of Christian Grey. I personally think that if you take out the fact that the sex between them is not normal then it's your average romance novel.

And yes gray is a color and Grey is a name.

Review: Evolution of Smooth: Smooth Sphere

I had seen ads and heard people talk about this product. I have really dry and sensitive to the sun lips. I normally use Blistex, but that gets old and is not that tasty. If something is going to be around my mouth for long periods of time I like for it to taste good.

I was in CVS one day waiting for Chris to get off from work and I was browsing the shelves near the vitamins and I noticed an endcap full of EOS Lip Balm. I loved how cute they were! They were small enough to go with my everywhere and the color and packaging was adorable!


They offer these flavors the smooth sphere: lemon drop spf 15, strawberry sorbet, medicated tangerine, sweet mint, pomegranate raspberry, summer fruit, and honeysuckle honeydew. I had to have the lemon drop spf 15, strawberry sorbet, medicated tangerine, and sweet mint. I love them all!

The top is twistable and the texture is so smooth and creamy. I love it! I wear the SPF 15 Lemon during the day to protect from the sun on top of my lipstick and/or under my lip. I alternate between the sweet mint and strawberry sorbet in the afternoon and the evening. Before I go to sleep at night I use the medicated tangerine.

I love all things Disney as you of course can tell from my blog and from my two trips to Disney World this fall and the small fact that I will have gone to Disney World five times by the end of this year.

Evolution of Smooth also offers Smooth Stick which is like regular packaging for chapstick. The flavors are pomegranate raspberry, vanilla bean, and sweet mint.

Review: Escaping the Vampire

Are you a parent concerned about your daughter obsession with vampires or Twilight? Are you a fan of Twilight and wanting to have a Christian opinion? This book is definitely the answer. It answers many questions that arise with Twilight Saga and being a Christian. It's a great book for a girl that is single and wondering what to look for in everything.

Kimberly Powers, the author of Escaping the Vampire, was wondering why so many girls in her groups were obsessed with Twilight. She did what any good worship leader should do. She put herself in their shoes and not only watch the movies, but the read the books as well. She then did plenty of research for helping girls understand what they need to about vampires.

She explains everything in 3 different units. They are then broken down into chapters. Within in each chapter there are Bible verses, information and moments where she stops writing and tells you to Just Breathe. These moments are her way of getting you to think about what God has for you. It helps you connect not only with what she is saying, but also what God wants you to think about as well.

This first part is called Illusion Shattered. The first part describes how how only God can give what you desire from the vampires. It also talks about how you need God instead of a desire for vampires and the image that they bring. Soul Redeemed is the second part of the book. It talks about what you can do to seek God. Why certain guys are attractive to certain girls. What you are subconsciously looking for in a relationship. And how your relationship with your Heavenly father and earthly  father affects your own romantic relationship. The final part is called Mystery Embraced. This final part of the book is all about living for God. The love that God has for you.

I give this book 4.5 stars out of 5. The only reason it didn't give a complete 5 stars is because I feel like it could have given more Bible verses. Hopefully in the future she can do a whole Bible Study on this subject.

Halloween Reviews!

I loved Halloween as child. I begged every year to be a witch, but they always wanted me to be something else. I hated the year I was a stupid butterfly! Omg I took ballet lessons until I was 16 and when I was six year old I hated wearing a leotard that didn't have a little skirt to it. So I hated the leotard they put me and then to make matters worse they stuck these big ugly pale pink, glittery wings on me and then this felt thing over my front that had glitter on it. I hated it. Back then I wasn't a big fan of dogs so trick or treating meant my big brothers go to carry me. One house that year they put me down once we got to the porch and the crazy lady let her dog just run right at us. Well I took off running. Daddy and all of my brothers swear those wing really did work because they had never seen me run so fast before that night.

I thought I would share with you a humorous story of my childhood because I have yet to live that down even though we are in a different country and it's been 17 years. (Ok ouch that makes me feel old.) Anyhow, I'm going to share with you three things for Halloween. One is a movie that I swear I watch even when it's not Halloween. I've been watching this since I was able to watch movies. Another one is a movie as well, but I only watch it at Halloween. Finally, I'm going to share with you a book I just finished reading this morning.

First, the movie that for many years was my ABSOLUTE favorite movie. This was before Harry Potter came along. When I sat down to write this post I came across a pin on Pinterest that caused anguish for me. I cannot pick between Harry Potter and... The Worst Witch. However, not the HBO television series. The 1986 television movie that Tim Curry, Fairuza Balk, Liz May Brice, Charlotte Rae, and Diana Rigg, all had amazing roles in the movie. The movie is based on the book The Worst Witch by Jill Murphy. Mildred Hubble is a clumsy, unsure of herself, witch growing up in a school where the other students' families has all been witches. She gets ridiculed by a lot of the students because it seems like everything she does is wrong and sometimes it's because of sabotage by her classmates. I highly recommend watching it. I used to watch this movie year round and especially when it was on the Disney Channel until they stopped airing it.

The second movie is one I am almost positive that VERY few people have heard of because it's so rare. Chris and his ex girlfriend are the first people I have ever come in contact with that not only have heard of this movie but have it as well. (Of course Chris' ex also loved the Worst Witch and it used to be her favorite movie.) The Halloween That Almost Wasn't has been a favorite of mine and theirs for years! I had no idea that there were other people in the world (let alone people I talk to on daily basis) that knew about this movie. It was also a television movie but this is one is slightly older. Dating all the way back to 1979. It too also played on the Disney Channel, but Disney likes to have things over hyped these days. When it was released to VHS it was retitled The Night Dracula Saved the World. The main witch that is suppose to fly across the moon refuses to because she thinks he takes all the credit for Halloween. It is a great movie that has Judd Hirsch, Mariette Hartly, Henry Gibson, Jack Riley, and John Schuck all in it. 

My last review is a book I could not put down. It has actually been turned into a series since I received it as a gift a little less than 10 years ago. I know I'm horrible. Normally I'm all about a book, but something held me back from reading this. Now I see why the Lord wanted me to read this book at this point in my life. In Boo by Rene Gutteridge, a small town in Indiana has been living off the image a local novelist has given their town. Skary, Indiana has been boasting for 16 years that they have the famous Wolfe Boone living in their small town. However, when he decided to give up writing horror stories and get saved the town goes into complete shock. People start judging "Boo" as they call him. Did he get saved to throw them and to give them some more to talk about? Did he do it to get closer to them to find out dark secrets? Or did he do it to win the heart of the Sheriff's daughter? Or is he really feeling the Lord speak to him? I highly recommend this book. I am going to finish the series. I am heading to Lifeway on Tuesday to complete my series of it.

Review: Kiki's Delivery Service

I have always loved Halloween! When I was little every year for Halloween I wanted to be a witch. I never cared for being a princess or an angel. However, there was the year I went as Sindell from Mortal Kombat and I was in the 4th grade. I have always loved magic.

Kiki's Delivery Service was one of my favorites growing up. Daddy bought by accident for me. My mother and her sister (also my first stepmom) had taped the 80s television series of Little Women. It was a Japanese company that had produce the series and daddy picked Kiki's Delivery Service thinking it was part of the series, but it wasn't. (By the way this is how my manga and anime obsession started.)

I love this movie so much that as an adult I had to buy it on DVD. Kristen Dunst is the voice of the main character, Kiki. She is a witch and she has to leave her home and learn to have witches' skills. Her cat, Jiji, joins her on the adventure. She discovers that she only really knows how to fly and even that she cannot do well. She creates a delivery business with a friend who gives her shelter.

Kiki is lost in a large city and gets discouraged by some local teens her own age. However, this one boy, Tombo, finds her and her ability to fly interesting. He loves to fly and is trying to build a device with will allow him to fly. However, caught up in trying to make everyone else happy, Kiki losing her ability to fly and talk to her cat Jiji. Through a friend named Ursula she discovered  that she needs to remember to look inside herself and not what's on the outside and not to depend on others.

I will not spoil the ending for those of you who have never seen this movie. I love it and it will always be a favorite in my heart. I also love the credits song. Sydney Forest sings I'm Gonna Fly which is a really great song about pushing yourself.

Hello! Bonjour! Aloha!
I am back from Disney World and Universal Studios! I had a fabulous time while I was gone. I'll write and blog about the gritty details later along with some pictures from the trip.

It is Sunday. I know I did not blog throughout my trip like I promised, but a lot of unexpected surprises happened during the trip and my time was very much consumed.

Anyhow you should know that I love to learn. I love pushing myself to knew limits of knowledge and wisdom all the time. Yes, there is a difference between knowledge and wisdom. That topic is for another blog, however.

I signed up for Google Power Search Course on a whim. I was Googling something and I happened to come across an offer to join their course on how to search Google like a pro. I was a little hesitate to sign up for it since the assignments were due right after I returned from vacation and some of the classes would be posted while I was on vacation.

I am sure glad I went ahead and pushed myself! I learned so much from the courses. Some of the tips and tricks I already knew from much time spent on the Internet. I had been wondering here lately about searching for something without certain other phrases and words popping up with it as well. That was definitely my big lesson that I learned.

I finished the course (all the activities and assignments) in a day. I'm not bragging. For a person that doesn't use Google a lot it will take a couple of days (when they open it back up) because you have to get used to your surroundings of the search engine. I have several friends who rely on Bing and Yahoo! and I just stare at them. "WHY?" I just cannot fathom using anything other than Google now.

I love all Google products. I want to try out their computer and tablet to see how I like them. I constantly checking to see what products that they come out with on a weekly basis. If Google ever goes out of business I'm a going to be lost. I guess I will have to rely on Microsoft.

If Google offers this course again I will definitely recommend it.

Is There....

Any wonder as to why my favorite Disney movie is Beauty and the Beast?

 

I wanted that library he gave to her so bad. It was wonderful. Much better than promises he couldn't keep. I loved to read even as small child. I would take books and make up my own words or I would beg and plead my older brothers to read to me. Occasionally my dad or stepmom would read to me, but it was rare. 

I have an advantage over most people. I can read several languages. I learned to read French first which has it's advantages at times. Though, that comes at a disadvantage for me growing up. As much as I wanted there was no way I was ever going to have a library like that. There was no place to store all the books I wanted. I hated reading in the library. Though, I love libraries and bookstores. I even worked at Books-A-Million for six years.

That was harsh on me. Employee discount, smell of books, and making money at the same time? It's amazing I didn't go crazy behind that counter more often. I loved our unveiling parties for Harry Potter books. I simply adored them. I love watching the elementary students running around in robes and chasing each other with wands screaming out spells or making up their own on occasion. 

I have always loved books. They were my escape a child from whatever was bothering me. Alas, I could not keep all of my favorites. I have a select few from growing up that I kept. I have several of my favorite children's books in a trunk in the my spare bedroom that someday I will share with my own children. It is a shame that little Golden Books are now $3 and all of mine say 97¢. I have the first 13 Boxcar Children Books, as well as the original Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, and Baby Sitter's Club. I have few extras here and there that I kept over the years. I have multiple different hardback and paperback copies of Harry Potter. I have several religious books that I have nonfiction and fiction.

Though I love and enjoy Amazon's creation. I absolutely love Kindle. My Kindle is one of my best friend. I know I have an iPad with the Kindle app on there as well. I have my iPod with the Kindle app on there. However, nothing beats the real Kindle. My dad got mine for me almost two years ago. I had been craving one so bad.  And why shouldn't I have been? It is an avid reader's dream come true!

Dad went ahead and bought me a red cover for mine since I was about to begin the University of Alabama. The covers Amazon sales for them come with a light. I have the Kindle Keyboard 3G, Free 3G + Wi-Fi, 6" E Ink Display. I adore it!

Harry Did Not Do His Job...

Seriously when the Olympics 2012 was mentioned around me to begin with I would scream this just like Joey. If you don't know what the graphics or what I'm talking about, just leave. Lol "It's LONDON BABY!" It's one  the best Joey moments ever! I believe when Chris and I were there two months ago I did that at him on the plane and some girl 4 rows behind us air high-fived me. It's great!

Anyhow, I have seriously loved the Olympics this year. For starters, yes it's in London Baby! Then hello, HARRY POTTER!!!!! Plus I like gymnastics and the swimming. I have watched other competitions though. I was so excited the Rupert Grint was one of the people to carry the torch! I guess that's why I have loved this so much because this is a Olympics where we know the famous people.

Yes the opening ceremony............ Was astounding!!!!! It was brilliant! Voldemort-woah my bad. He-who-must-not-be-named was there and Mary Poppins saved the day. Chill fellow magical people it was a slip of the tongue. I am surrounded by muggles. Anyhow, not only was he there but hello the queen herself was there. No no no not the one who looked like she could have been anywhere else and been a lot happier. JK Rowlings!!!! It was amazing! 

Anyhow, I have been quite happy with the Olympics as far as the USA goes. The French team I was please with too. I happen to like watching the Olympics summer or winter. I have been extremely impressed with London's take on the Olympics.

Revolve Devotional Bible: The Complete Bible for Teen Girls

I first came across this company because they are the company that produces Biblezines. Biblezines are the Bible in magazine form. Most either the New testament or specific books from the Old testament. They contain quizzes, articles, and exact help geared toward young adults. I love the products because they are easy to read. 

Their forms of the Bible whether it be the devotional Bible, the Biblezines, or their devotional books are in the very easy to read format of, New Century Version. 

It has quizzes and verses that mean so much to life. My favorite thing in the cardstock colored pages are the scavenger hunts. I have so much fun doing those with the younger kids and teens. They like to make a game out of it.

At the beginning of each book of the Bible it gives a great description of the time, write and history around the time the certain book was written. Also it gives highlights to pay attention to while reading.

New Version instead of the pink and blue.

This is my Bible above. I use Crayola Twistable colored pencils to highlight in my Bible because it does not bleed through to the next pages. I highly recommend doing that.

My only problem with this Bible is the subject reference is not big or broad. To me it felt like it was ignoring the taboo subjects and sometimes that's the only way to get a teen or person to read is to read about the taboo subjects.

Review: Vanilla Caramel Truffle Tea

Flavor: Not usually a great fan of flavored teas because sometimes the flavor overwhelms the tea taste and you end up drinking flavored water with tea. This one is not bad. It's hard to mix all 3 flavors together and taste all 3. On smelling it, it smells strongly of caramel. On tasting it, the vanilla and caramel flavor is rather weak, the truffle flavor is stronger and you end up with a coffee-ish tasting tea, which isn't bad. After reading the other reviews, butterscotch, musty or even musky come to mind.

Packaging: I love the pyramid tea bags. I think they really work well, at a minimum they allow bigger tea leaves because there is more space inside the bag for the water to swirl the leaves around. The negative about this is that the bags are not individually wrapped (difficult to wrap a pyramid shape) so I try to use up all 20 bags as quickly as possible lest the flavor escapes.

I love this product. I have loved it for almost 2 years. It really calms the nerves without having to be coffee and its fragrance is just amazing. A friend of mine loves this just as much as I do. She has recently become pregnant and was seriously bummed when she couldn't drink as much as she used to of this beverage. I highly recommend this tea. Though I must admit it is a dessert tea.

Cool ‘n Creamy Vanilla Caramel Freeze

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup boiling water
• 3 Lipton Vanilla Caramel Truffle Pyramid Tea Bags
• 2 Tbsp. sugar
• 1 cup Breyers All Natural Vanilla Ice Cream
• 2 Tbsp. coffee liqueur
• 1 cup ice cubes (about 6 to 8)

Instructions:

1. Pour boiling water over Lipton Vanilla Caramel Truffle Pyramid Tea Bags; cover and brew 5 minutes. Remove Tea Bags and squeeze, then stir in sugar; chill.
2. In blender, process tea, ice cream and liqueur. Add ice cubes, one at a time, and process until blended. Pour into glasses and garnish, if desired, with whipped cream and drizzle with caramel topping. Serve immediately.

Review: Victoria's Secret Fashion Tape

I am not one for wearing scoop or V neck shirts. I really hate shirts that when I am wearing them they droop down and suddenly when I lean over you can see everything underneath my shirt. Especially my summer clothes are like that and I really hate that because I love flowing shirts just one problem they like to slide down. It helps with a tank top underneath but its not always flattering. I finally remembered I had some tape from my senior prom where I was wanting the dress to stay stuck with me. I was amazed at this tape! I've recently tried another brand but I must say I still love Victoria's Secret brand a lot more.

You get 36 for $10.

Easy to use:

• Start with a clean, dry surface
• Press one side of tape firmly onto skin or fabric
• Remove backing on other side and press fabric firmly into desired position.

I recommend these to anyone. I love being able to go about my day not worrying if I'm showing to much or not. The tape works really well with all kind of fabric. I highly recommended it. Double-Sided Stylist-Tape

Treat For Dad

To the man that was the first man to put his arms around me and tell me that he loved,

Now I won't spending all day with my dad like I normally do. I am taking him out for supper. But today's review does go hand in hand with Father's Day. 

Everyone knows I follow free samples. Free things equals a happy me, especially when all I have to do is fill out my name and address and email. Even better when Chris lets me put his info into those form and I get double samples and coupons. I would do my dad's but my stepmom would steal most of it probably so I don't bother. 

Anyhow, I was doing my daily sample search and it was a free personalized Father's Day card from Treat. I remember thinking good grief its the day after Mother's Day. But I clicked on it anyhow. I used a few pictures I had of me, one of me and him on a ride at Disney World, and one of me and him when I was a baby. I love it, you picked out a template and easily let you do some styling to the photos. It was a very smooth process. I entered the code for the free card at the end of the checkout. You did have to create an account but I had no problem with that at all. 

The fact that the company was sponsored by other companies like Hallmark, etc. made me feel better about the whole make an account ordeal whereas other people were freaking out. I haven't had any unwanted email or mail from this company. When the card arrived just 4 days later, yes just four and it was completely printed on good durable matte paper I was impressed. They also gave me 30% off the next card I purchase, which was good because I needed to make a wedding card. They are really good about giving you discounts. I really appreciated the free card. I'm sure dad will love it tonight when I give it to him. Its a tradition since I'm older now. I give him a card and take him out to eat.  

I have been recommending using Treat for cards. I like that I can personalize and save cards and fix it where they will send it to them even I forget in 4 months that its Ridge's Birthday or I can set it where it sends out holiday cards. I love things like that. Plus, personalized means that I took time for that person. It shows that you care even more when it shows up in a real mailbox.

My dad loved the card. He made a joke but you could tell he loved the thought I had put into it. He actually put it in his jacket pocket which was a good sign because normally he puts things he doesn't intend to keep in his pants pocket. I personally love this restaurant. I love the ambience. You step into a replica of an 18th-century Colonial pub and its historic atmosphere, including oak-plank floors, pewterware-stocked hutches, and a big brick fireplace hung with copper pots. I was there for dinner and I simply loved the simplicity of the food. It was nothing fancy but it was delicious. It might be because I prefer simple homemade dishes, the only thing I did not care for was the dessert, the Johnny Appleseed's Cake. I did not like the Craisins dried cranberries. I love how the waiters and waitresses were dressed colonial clothing. We were not there to celebrate a birthday, but we did get to witness how they celebrate someone's birthday (you have to tell them when you make a reservation.) They had the waiters and waitresses make a parade while clamping and singing and brought out a special cupcake with a candle and sang happy birthday. I cannot wait to for that to happen with my family because we are celebrating several birthdays. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want something homemade and nothing fancy.
