I personally love this restaurant. I love the ambience. You step into a replica of an 18th-century Colonial pub and its historic atmosphere, including oak-plank floors, pewterware-stocked hutches, and a big brick fireplace hung with copper pots. I was there for dinner and I simply loved the simplicity of the food. It was nothing fancy but it was delicious. It might be because I prefer simple homemade dishes, the only thing I did not care for was the dessert, the Johnny Appleseed's Cake. I did not like the Craisins dried cranberries. I love how the waiters and waitresses were dressed colonial clothing. We were not there to celebrate a birthday, but we did get to witness how they celebrate someone's birthday (you have to tell them when you make a reservation.) They had the waiters and waitresses make a parade while clamping and singing and brought out a special cupcake with a candle and sang happy birthday. I cannot wait to for that to happen with my family because we are celebrating several birthdays. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want something homemade and nothing fancy.
