Brick by Boring Brick

Finally

I have been dealing with this for years now. A little bit longer than I have been with Chris. So that should tell you something. I have been dealing with something that has been holding me back from being completely happy. But you know what? I am slowly phasing that out of my life.

Piece by piece, brick by boring brick, getting it out of my system and out of my life. I am tired of being walking on my tiptoes. I am A WOMAN that has her own opinions and her originality. Who wasn't willing to settle for the first thing to come along.

I was the girl that made her own foundation, I didn't wait for friend and my husband to do it. I stepped out on my own. I am so glad that I did. I took a shovel and dug a deep hole. I buried my castle back in May 2012.

However, I am burying my trying to attempt to try. I am do not need you. I tried I really did. I have been told several times. Looking at the situation now you are another form of what I ran from the last time. So this I am not running I am just burying the belief that there is something good in this situation. There is not a single fiber in me that thinks things will change.

People say that beauty comes from the inside and I completely believe that. Because no matter how much make up you put on a pig or a man, they are still a pig and man. It's just that simple. It's called dress up. Life is not a dress rehearsal. You are on stage for everyone to see.

I feel myself feeling better with each sentence I write. I feel like the world is at my doorstep. Because I make my goals and I WORK hard to get to those goals. I don't wait on anyone else. I am not defined by my husband. I am not defined by what I watch, what I do, what I eat, or what you think of me. So as Vin told me the other day...

It's a new fiscal year and almost fall, so....
Roll Tide, Always

Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak! Thank you!

I think there is a big take away from each movie of Harry Potter. Though there are many lessons to be learned with each and every character from the Harry Potter series. I personally feel like each movie/book had a lesson. I partnered with a fellow blogger Maria to do this joint blog. Her lessons from Disney movies can be found here Phoenix Desire: Lesson Learned.

In the first movie I believe the biggest lesson learned in the first movie/book is that you need friendship. Friendship for every aspect of your life. Some can overlap and some can be for certain parts of your life. Friendship that is strong enough to be there with you through anything. Being a friend that encourages your friend and helps them is a huge lesson to learn. However, in the beginning of the Sorcerer's Stone Malfoy tells Harry that he thinks they should be friends and can help him pick out the good and bad. Harry can automatically tell that Malfoy isn't the kind to be friends with when selecting people to be friends with in life.

The second book/movie takes on a whole different lesson for me. I believe in the second movie it's about not to judge people by what facts you only know. You won't know everything about that person and you are still judging them. Most everyone believed that just because Harry could speak Parseltongue and was around the attacks they believed he was the heir of Slytherin. However, many knew that he wouldn't do such a think nor knew how to do such a thing. Also a small lesson on the side is that if you know about something that could help matters please go ahead and advice an adult.

In this book/movie there is my almost favorite lessons from the Harry Potter series. Learn all sides of the story before making judgements, and also that secrets and unforseen circumstances can greatly impact peoples lives. This is the main reason I do like politics you never really know the truth behind what they are saying and rarely anyone proves what they say is true. Harry jumped to conclusion based on what he had overheard adults saying without checking with anyone else. And the adults jumped to conclusions without asking Black did he murdered Pettigrew. So in all always make sure to know the whole story and better yet just stay out of it if it has nothing to do with you.

In Book/Movie 4 I think what I learned most about is not matter how young you are that you are still able to do challenges that adult may not be able to do themselves either. It is also a Bible verse about that too which I love called 1 Timothy 4:12. Yeah Harry had some help, but we all need help. It's all about using our strengths and our abilities to conquer what is in front of us with the help of God. Though Harry might not have had the help of God. He had Moody helping him.

Lesson to be learned in book/movie 5 is to stand up for the truth and what is right even if you are one of the few. Harry is ridiculed by most of the wizarding community because they don't want to accept what he has seen. Even more they feel like he is trying to take over the community with Dumbledore in tow. Harry sticks it out by dealing with heartless characters Umbridge and Fudge. In the end everything is rectified. So always stick up for what you know is the truth and right.

In the sixth movie/book you learn several lessons. One lesson is that We all face conflicts, dilemmas and obstacles now and then. That is a given. It’s how we handle them that makes the difference. Another one is beliefs are extremely lucky because you have to believe you are lucky and things go right for you. I believe this lesson with my whole heart. Also the lesson to have someone to push you to do something you don't want to do but must do. And finally when something bad happens in your life that you never expected life does go on and you can't stop living. Your own life has a purpose so live it.

In the last movies/book is where things really are learned. Hermione teaches you that you can fight equally beside a man. Ron teaches you to conquer your fears. Dumbledore teaches you to look past prejudices. Lily and Snape both teach you that love is the most powerful magic. Dobby teaches you that friendship, real dedication, and love out weighs riches or rags. Neville teaches you that hard work and complete determination will get you to the top with success. Luna teaches you that it's ok to be scatterbrain on occasion and to open your eyes to different views of the world. Fred and George teaches you that even when the everyone else is glum and scared that you can always find humor somewhere no matter. Lupin can teach you to realize that people are who they are not what they are. All the Weasleys, especially Molly, taught us that family is important. Harry teaches you to do what is right instead of easy.

My love for Harry Potter never dwindles. I am a Christian. I do not believe magic can really happen, however, I do believe in the lessons taught by Harry Potter. And as the Queen herself, J. K. Rowling said " Whether you come back by page or by the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home."

Bloodsuckers - Updated

Nope no Twilight post here, however, with the rate of West Nile going up people are starting to really freak out. I am among those people. I do not like being sick and I do like a little bit of outside exposure.

First and for most experts are saying that it will be held back if it doesn't rain a lot. However, with Hurricane Issac rearing his ugly self through the south part of the country, does that mean we could end up like Dallas, Texas? (Link) I am going to take plenty of precautions and I figured I would share with the rest of my followers.
  • Dump any standing water on your property
  • Use bug spray with DEET
  • Wear long sleeve shirts and pants when outside.
  • Avoid going outside at twilight (ok so the word is mentioned) and dawn
***Update***
Although deet still ranks as the overall best repellent, several others have compared favorably to it. Picaridin, for instance, works well as a repellent. Permethrin is not technically a repellent since it kills mosquitoes and other bugs, and it should be applied to clothing and gear, not skin, but it too works well to keep mosquitoes from biting. One natural and effective option is lemon eucalyptus oil, though you have to apply it more frequently - Buck Tilton, Backpacking Expert

My neighborhood has been sprayed for mosquitoes. If yours hasn't I strongly suggest writing to your town council or city council and suggesting so. Also check to see if mosquitoes in your area or around your area. Children and elderly people are the ones be affected the most but anyone can be infected.

West Nile virus experts claim that many times the virus passes through people without anyone knowing they have it. Death tolls are starting to rise which means some people have a worse case of the virus. People need to be aware of the symptoms:

The severe symptoms can include high fever, headache, neck stiffness, stupor, disorientation, coma, tremors, convulsions, muscle weakness, vision loss, numbness and paralysis. These symptoms may last several weeks, and neurological effects may be permanent.

Up to 20 percent of the people who become infected have symptoms such as fever, headache, and body aches, nausea, vomiting, and sometimes swollen lymph glands or a skin rash on the chest, stomach and back. Symptoms can last for as short as a few days, though even healthy people have become sick for several weeks.

Most commonly people who are infected with WNV will not show any symptoms at all. So if you are worried after getting a mosquito bite go have blood work done. If I am bitten I will get test and then get a second opinion as well. That's just my own personal feelings though.

West Nile fever is characterized by symptoms such as fever, body aches, headache and sometimes swollen lymph glands and rash. West Nile fever generally lasts only a few days, though in some cases symptoms have been reported to last longer, even up to several weeks. There is no specific treatment for WNV infection. (Link)

PERSONAL REFLECTION CHALLENGE!

1: Write about what you like/dislike from yourself, and how you plan to change it?
I'm pretty satisfied right now. I love being adventurous safely (no that does not imply sex!) I love trying new things.

2: Write about a life-changing experience in great details, and what you learn from it.
I've wrote about all of mine on my blog already. Ex-boyfriend type tried to change me, my sister dying, and moving to US

3: Write about 3 of the most influential people in your life that you have met, what makes them influential, and how are you going to thank them

Genevieve Ray - She's unbelievable devoted to God. However, she goes wild at times. I thank her all the freaking time for being a role model to me. She also mentors me.
Jennifer Greene - She has so many kids, yet her life is organized and polished like a magazine. She's funny and hardworking as well. I sent her a card the other thanking her for all the support she has given me.
Frankie Rasbrowen - He has a chronic disease and yet he keeps a smile on his face. He has tries to find something in every day. It is so inspiring! I don't know how to thank him.

4: Write about your biggest regrets, why, and what would you have done instead? Did you learn something from it?
Regrets? I don't really have. The things pop into mind when that is mentioned is noticing my sister changing, and prom. That's about it.

5: List 20 of your favorite quotes and give reasons why you like them.

Dark and difficult times lie ahead. Soon we must all face the choice between what is right and what is easy. - Dumbledore
- Kind of self explanatory

"A bird that has lost it's feathers can no longer sail through the sky's. And a person who has lost her memories can no longer find her way through the world she once called home. But still, I keep my faith. But as long as I have my life, new memories will be carved into the sand of time. "
— Sakura
- Don't let anything hold you back!

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12
-This verse helped me get through most of my high school days and still gets me through a lot.

No matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep believing, the dream that you wish will come true. ~ Cinderella
-Yep yep!

You have brains in your head and feet in your shoes
You can steer yourself any direction you choose.
You're on your own and you know what you know.
And you are the one who'll decide where to go. ~Dr. Seuss
-The main was ingenious!

Dedicate your life to a cause greater than yourself, and your life will become a glorious romance and adventure. ~Mack Douglas
-It's sooooo true!

CHRISTMAS is C-hrist's H-istoric, R-emarkable I-ncarnation S-tory, T-elling M-essiah's A-waited S-alvation.~ Jose B. Cabajar
-Hehe to me this is just awesome I love saying Merry Christmas to everyone. If I have to put up with your other religions you can put up with mine. :)

In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life. It goes on. - Robert Frost
-Yup. No matter how much you hold yourself up in a room. The world doesn't stop. What good will suicide do? The world still goes on for the majority of the people. But people who commit suicide just take the easy way out and cause hurt on even more people so no you aren't doing the world any favors.

Success seems to be connected with action. Successful people keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don't quit. - Conrad Hilton
-I just love this sooooooo much. People who sit there day after day complain how other people have what they don't. You have to do something even if its a small something.

It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you're not.
- I have to deal with people telling me all the time "I can't because it's a part of me or it's who I am" No you are fearful of changing. If you aren't a coward get up take the challenge.

"I say this because I know what I am planning for you," says the Lord. "I have good plans for you, not plans to hurt you. I will give you hope and a good future. - Jeremiah 29:11
-I love this because sometimes I just feel like I'm going through the motions and I know God has everything planned out for me.

You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world. John 16:33
- I find comfort in this verse because people ask me all the time why does the Lord let suffering happen. He suffers right along with people. But the goal is to let him handle it because a person alone can't take it on.

"The best thing about the future is that is comes only one day at a time." ~Abraham Lincoln
-I don't think we could handle it any other way.

"Whatever your past has been, you have a spotless future." ~Author Unknown
-Because so many people think that their future is destined by their past.

“No pain that we suffer, no trial that we experience is wasted. It ministers to our education, to the development of such qualities as patience, faith, fortitude and humility. All that we suffer and all that we endure, especially when we endure it patiently, builds up our characters, purifies our hearts, expands our souls, and makes us more tender and charitable, more worthy to be called the children of God . . . and it is through sorrow and suffering, toil and tribulation, that we gain the education that we come here to acquire and which will make us more like our Father and Mother in heaven.”
― Orson F. Whitney
- I am so committing this to memory!

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” - Proverbs 3:5
-Because I realize that my judgement isn't near as amazing as God's

It doesn't matter what you've heard
Impossible is not a word
It's just a reason
For someone not to try ~ Kutless
- I love this because it gives me hope

A woman's heart should be so hidden in God that a man has to seek Him just to find her. - Max Lucado
-This quote brought Chris to a realization. My daddy and I love Max Lucado

God loves you just the way you are, but He refuses to leave you that way. He wants you to be just like Jesus. - Max Lucado
- An amazing Christian writer. I love this because it's truly about becoming new in his appearance.

You weren't an accident. You weren't mass produced. You aren't an assembly-line product. You were deliberately planned, specifically gifted, and lovingly positioned on the earth by the Master Craftsman ~ Max Lucado
- Oh this need to be told to EVERY child!

6: List the things you would do/would have done if you don’t have any fears
If I hadn't of fears I would have defiantly been more outgoing at prom.
Courage to stand up for myself.

7: Write about your dream and how you are going to achieve it.
One of my biggest dreams is dancing or singing in front of a big crowd. I plan on achieving both at my wedding whenever that is.

He Will Continue to Surprise Me

I grew up with the Disney Princesses and home videos of past recordings. When my mom married my dad they received a VCR and my mom was crazy about taping little kid shows. For that I'm grateful. She also bought so many children book for me it was ridiculous. My grandmother in Paris said she was almost crestfallen when she had Jared because she wanted a girl so bad. She wanted a girl to dress up and have tea parties with air for tea.

I was and still am a slight tomboy, but I have always loved romantics. I took dance in Paris. Yes, people are gasping in Tuscaloosa reading this. I am actually able to stand on toe for ballet. I took dance for over ten years. It's amazing I have been able to keep it a secret for this long. I realized that yesterday I missed it. When I was stretching and Viv said something about me taking dance and Maddy almost fell off the couch. Yes, miss-fall-down-the-stairs is a Prima Ballerina in Paris. Maddy wouldn't believe it.

I had to prove to her that I really could. I think my favorite thing was Chris's facial expression. Why I thought he would be astounded I don't know, but I looked over there at him. He was giving me the famous look at this point.
It wasn't until he stood up that I got slight nervous. He kicked off his shoes and grabbed me and told me to do a certain position quickly. Next thing I know he is one foot on his tiptoes. I know my eyes were wide. I was completely shocked. Maddy had Dr.Pepper dripping down her chin. Constance was doing a half-cracked smile. "You have taken ballet?!" I know I almost screamed that at him. "Yes, eight years." So apparently my boyfriend has been honest to his word. We have much to learn about each other.

So, we were talking last night and I looked at him and asked him was there anymore hidden talents. He just grinned. I asked him did he ever get made fun of because he liked to girly things. Again the Flynn Look came from him. "I love to learn; stereotyping has never stopped nor does it change my orientation." My love grew him for him at that statement. We put in Beauty and the Beast. We fell asleep with Jackjack between us.

100th Post

It does not seem like I have posted 100 posts. I remember my first blog. I was nervous, laying in the floor the hotel I was staying at for Claudette's wedding and the girl that now idolizes my blog, was laying on the bed above me. I was unsure about a lot of things. I just knew what I wanted to do. I wanted to share my life.

I was slightly shocked that people started reading my blog right away. Now I have posts that get read almost instantly 30 times in an hour. I have been readers and my blog has been read on over 15 different cellphones. My favorite part is that I have people all over the world care to stop by my blog to see what my life is like and that makes me think of Maddy's reasoning for being obsessed with my blog. "Your life rocks."

I always laugh, but sitting here an rereading some post I realize how thankful I am that my life is plentiful and joyful. God really has blessed me in life, with jobs, a place to live, food, things I want but don't need, and my blog. I realize many times now that my blogs not only show you my life, but also give you information. I like that it has stayed true to the schedule. Though, I do like to do spontaneous posts and funny posts just because it breaks free of tradition.

I appreciate those of you who stick by me through my ranting and raving. My endless obsessions and fandoms. If there is anything else you would like me to write about don't hesitate to tell me. I'll be here;

Just Thinking..

A man’s chest is a girl’s comfort zone. It is a warm feeling when a girl is leaning her head through a guy’s chest. It is not just about lust or anything. But, it is way to comfort herself. There’s a sense of security when you just feel the lovely curves in his chest. It’s like listening to his heartbeat and feeling her breath beneath your hair. You’ll talk about happy things and you can fall asleep. It’s one of the best yet simple moments that you can cherish with the person that you love so much.

30 Day Introspective Challenge

1. How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
I would say slightly younger because I have been so naive before.
2. Which is worse, failing or never trying?
Never trying. Failing at least you have the memories of trying.
3. When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
I think I have slightly done more than just said.
4. Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?
Defiantly doing what I believe in. 3 degree this time.
5. If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
I don't think I would change much.
6. To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken?
I've controlled a lot of it. I'm happy where it is. Many people have said that my dad held me back well I could have defied him and suffered the consequences, but I listened to him. I haven't ended up hurt yet.

I Didn't Really Do a Personal Post Yesterday So Here

I have a stalker. It's no lie. What's even crazier is she used to be my boss. She is a crazy awesome friend and gives me plently of feedback on my blog and whatever I ask of her. I cannot stress enough how much I love feedback. She loves the fact that I have product pages and tell I'm feeling on the sidebar on a particular day.

I won't lie to begin with I was slightly freaked out that she stalked my blog that much. I'm not talking just this page, I mean my Pinterest, Tumblr, and Twitter. She's signed up to follow them all. Though most of the time they are linked together. I'm pretty sure as she is reading this she is squealing, literally.

I finally asked her why she was so obsessed. "Your life is so much cooler than mine." No my life is how perceive it. Many people look at my life and think it is so awesome when really I live a normal life. Granted I do a lot of things on my own. Anyone can look at their life and see the good in it and not dwell on the bad.

I have bad things happen to me a lot. I had surgery on Sunday and a slight heatstroke last Monday. Do I gripe about how bad I feel? Well slightly because it put in a situation where I am not allowed to be as active. However, I choose to find something else to do. If I hadn't of had surgery on Sunday I wouldn't have found way to add more blog readers.

Life is all about how you handle situations and the opportunities that you take. Don't depend on someone else to make your happiness. Make your own. I guess that was one of the reasons I didn't want to officially date Chris. I didn't want people thinking that just because of him I would be happy. Yes he brings a lot of enjoyment into my life, but I guarantee that I would have found away to make myself happy without him.

I do not dwell on the fact that I don't have him. I rarely say, "Gosh I wish Chris was here" unless there is a specific need for him. Don't get me wrong I love his company. I know he has his own life. Sometimes the loneliness does sometimes eat at me a little. I find something that makes me happy and don't dwell on him or anyone else to make me happy. We have our own lives. He loves providing medicine for the sick even though sometimes he gets slightly agitated at the people on depression medicine and pain killers. Also the people on medicare and what not that don't deserve to be.

We have many discussions on certain issues like that. It's one of the reasons I love his company when I do have it. We don't sit there and cuddle and talk about movies or other people. We talk about issues and discuss articles. It's very refreshing. I personally think that is one of the reasons that I love him is that he intelligent enough to know what's going on in the world and can give me direct answers instead of saying "I don't know."

The girl that stalks my blog and I had a nice discussion on most guys (and people in general) that say they don't like something, but can't really tell you why. I have to agree with her. Nothing shows more ignorance than someone saying that don't like something and you asked them why and their answer, "I don't know. I just don't." Um know, are you that unintelligent that you can't tell me why your brain doesn't like something? I don't like plain roast from the crockpot. Why? Because to me it tastes bitter and dry to me. Look a reason why I don't like something.

The Facebook page has updates to it. Pinterest is constantly having updates to it. So let me know what you want to read about or hear about going on in my life or just ask me questions. Also click (Here) to keep up with the blog schedule and (Here) for my Calendar.

I Will Be A Good Loving Mom

Sometimes I will be researching a certain quote that I know I don't have word for word. I come across some pretty interesting things at times. I have come across things that make me think, smile, cry, etc. However, I came across this (Rage of a Mother) tonight and I automatically started praying....

It shook me to the core. People hating their children? Wanting to kill them after being born? I haven taken one child development class and things shocked me in there as well. Parents who just want a child to have a child without raising them or loving them. Parents trying to make doctors believe that their child has autism or ADD or depression. I'm not saying that there are not children with these diseases, but proof is coming out that doctors and nurses are over doing it.

Parents hating their children when the child is just being a child? Hating them for laughing and squealing at night after supper just so you can watch a tv show? Not taking them to the park because you feel you need your car painted or a new video game? Or not giving them the love and support because you feel like cigarettes and drinking is that big a deal?

If all of those things are so important to you then why did you have sex? A condom only worse 98% of the time. The pill or patch? If you miss a day or start late taking it your risk or pregnancy goes up. The most effective way of not getting pregnant? No sex. I love children to death and I want my own some day, but I see these people that think they can have children and let someone else raise them and it makes me sad and frustrated.

Children are expensive. I know that. Look at the price of diapers while you are looking for condoms. Yes some people can handle it. I love watching my best friend with her kids. Yes she does get stressed, but she hardly raises her voice to them. I have another friend who clings to her child and though she may treat him like a little adult he is the smartest 4 year old I know. He is already reading a 1st grade level. People gasp and ridicule another friend because her daughter has won over 35 pageants in her short 4 year old life. That child is strong willed and determined something that will come very handy in life when people try to run over her.

Too many people let their children be run by technology and media. Yes Jackjack, my baby brother, has played with my iPad, but I make sure he has wooden blocks and other old fashion toys to play with as well. To give you an example of what I am talking Genevieve has made almost everything on her Pinterest board called Playroom Ideas and toys. Children all over her neighborhood love to play in the playroom she created for children. She spends hours making felt food so it looks real. I swear if I ever get the opportunity to vote her as mom of the year she would defiantly get it.

Genevieve adopted an 8 year old girl who is now 10 that is unlike any child I have seen. She spent her summer on a mission trip in Canada with no internet, no cellphone, no mp3 player, etc. Did Genevieve make her go? No. She went on her own. That shows real parenting! The child gave up her 3 month long summer vacation so someone else could find Christ. Yet there are people out there saying it isn't so and that God is dumb. Like my favorite youth minister used to say "I serve a living God.  While there are supposed other Gods buried and their are guards watching their tombs where their bones are buried. I serve a living God where there is nothing but an empty because He is Risen!" I loved that and it has stayed with me for almost ten years now.

I did cry and pray tonight thinking about all of this. How many parents let their children do whatever. Nobody knows their children's friend's parents anymore. Look through rape stories, over half of them are friends' parents raping the child. It's sad that it has come to this in the world. Parents don't care and don't tell their children "No." Oh sure you have the ones that claim they raised their kids right, but their child is going rampant. It used to be the children were wrong now you've got counselors and doctors disapproving because of their latest research. The latest research is crap. You have tiptoe around too many people now!

I get sick at my stomach from my blood boiling thinking about the crap that happened in high school. I had been helping my dad put up a new fence for the horses and my arms got cut up really bad. Apparently, a teacher heard word from a student and took the liberty of telling the counselor. The counselor even called my stepmom and dad telling them that I was depressed and cutting myself and maybe I needed medication. It was total crap. I sat there listening to that witch talk about how there was medication for everything. I was so mad at that teacher and supposed friend. I never spoke to either again. What makes it even worse was that teacher had almost been my favorite teacher. I rarely spoke to her again and started finding other groups and teachers to confide in.

I will raise my children on Christian values. Yes, including spanking as a last resort. It worked wonders on me. As for the thing of "Well then my child will be afraid of me." No if you do it properly then they should respect you. I guess that's why I love my dad so. I had a sort of friend's mom tell me that my dad was over protective. When talking to her I agreed, looking back tonight and thinking about her child. Nah, my dad raised me right and was loving me the way a father should have. God gave me great parents.

Harry Did Not Do His Job...

Seriously when the Olympics 2012 was mentioned around me to begin with I would scream this just like Joey. If you don't know what the graphics or what I'm talking about, just leave. Lol "It's LONDON BABY!" It's one  the best Joey moments ever! I believe when Chris and I were there two months ago I did that at him on the plane and some girl 4 rows behind us air high-fived me. It's great!

Anyhow, I have seriously loved the Olympics this year. For starters, yes it's in London Baby! Then hello, HARRY POTTER!!!!! Plus I like gymnastics and the swimming. I have watched other competitions though. I was so excited the Rupert Grint was one of the people to carry the torch! I guess that's why I have loved this so much because this is a Olympics where we know the famous people.

Yes the opening ceremony............ Was astounding!!!!! It was brilliant! Voldemort-woah my bad. He-who-must-not-be-named was there and Mary Poppins saved the day. Chill fellow magical people it was a slip of the tongue. I am surrounded by muggles. Anyhow, not only was he there but hello the queen herself was there. No no no not the one who looked like she could have been anywhere else and been a lot happier. JK Rowlings!!!! It was amazing!

Anyhow, I have been quite happy with the Olympics as far as the USA goes. The French team I was please with too. I happen to like watching the Olympics summer or winter. I have been extremely impressed with London's take on the Olympics.

Pampered

This morning I had one of those awakening moments. I soaked in my tub after walking Abby with Chris. I decided not to wash my hair because I didn't want to stand under the cold water like yesterday. I put on a tank top and went downstairs expecting to find Chris sitting in front of the tv playing Nintendo. He was in the kitchen and told me to come in there. I stopped dead in my tracks. Against the kitchen sink was a chair from my dining room and towels. He told me to go get my shampoo and conditioner. I went dazed back upstairs.

I handed them both to him and he told me to sit down. I did notice that I was sitting on books covered in two towels. I leaned back against the towel rolled up on the edge.He gently wet my hair with the water sprayer. He massaged my scalp with his finger tips wetting my hair even more. He slowly started shampooing my hair. This was where I lost it.

He kept asking if it hurt while he lathered my hair. I started crying and he instantly stopped. I realize he thought he had hurt me. I was shaking my head no sending soapsuds flying and I told him that it was just one of most tender moments I've ever experienced. He smiled and kissed me. I sat there while he kept massaging and lathering my hair. He washed the shampoo out and then conditioned it. I just sat in total amazement.

Even more amazed when he dried it as well with me sitting in the floor in front of him on the couch. It felt wonderful. Plus it was so gentle and tender I wanted it to last forever. I let him straighten it as well. It's bouncy and soft to touch. I feel very pampered. Awesome start to my day!
